Mushi No Koe was published in
1910 in a song book for the elementary school - the jinjyou shougaku dokuhon
shouka . It's also one of the popular songs and you can often hear it in
late summer (August/September) because crickets are the heralds for autumn. It's
unknown who wrote and composed it. But it's still taught today to the third
graders to learn more about insects.
