Frozen
Moon – vol. 12: AME-SAMA, PLEASE DON'T FORGET ME!
~
back
Well,
back to my favorite color: Grey! :o)
I thought it would be nice if
I had a Japanese little girl on my layout. I decided to use this
picture by Riko Yoshida, an adorable child actress. You might have
seen her in dorama like “Oh! My Girl!!” or “Mei-chan
no Shitsuji”. This picture totally fits to me – I love
rain, I love children in light gothic clothes with a umbrella. If I
were a child again I would try to style myself that way. ^_^
I
wanted to use a haiku so I searched on Manyoshu (the oldest poetry
collection ever) for a nice one about rain. But I couldn't find one
and then I saw this one:
Chichi haha ga kashira kakinade
saku are te ishii kotoba ze wasurekanetsuru.
My parents gave
me a pat on the head and said: “Good luck with you” - I
have not been able to forgot those words.
I thought this was
cute and it would also give the picture a melancholic sound.
And
somehow the word “Forget-me-not” appeared on my mind so I
used a picture of Forget-Me-Nots for the layout. I still needed a
slogan and thought really hard about it. While starring into the blue
sky (it was sunny) I somehow mumbled to myself: “Ame-sama,
please don't forget me!”
Ame-sama means of course
“Honorable Mr. Rain!” - I thought that was funny and I'm
sure I will use those words a lot when it's hot outside. >_<
